Read this before drawing conclusions.
Reconstructed vs called live. Sessions marked reconstructed were scored
by the historical backfill rather than by a live run, in most cases because the
pipeline did not exist yet on those dates. That label tracks how the row was
produced, not when. A few early-September sessions were re-scored by the backfill
during a methodology correction after having been called live, so they read as
reconstructed although the pipeline was running. Sessions marked called live
are records. Do not read the two as the same thing; only the live ones are evidence
of anything we actually said in advance.
Thin archive. The news index we draw from decays with age. A date marked
thin archive genuinely had fewer retrievable stories, which is a property of the
archive and not evidence of a quiet market. Comparisons across dates must account
for this; the per-day story count is shown for exactly that reason.
Correlation, not causation. This page places published coverage alongside price
moves. Where they agree or disagree, that is an observed association. It is not a causal
claim, not a forecast, and not a recommendation. Past association does not persist.
Not investment advice. "Coverage tone" describes the balance of cited reporting, not our
view, and makes no assertion about any issuer's conduct.
